Grape Christmas Treats

These are very delicious and healthy treats and are fun to give as Christmas gifts.  They are a big hit with kids.

Ingredients:

1.5 cups of blended bananas

1.5 cups blended grapes

1.5 cups blended watermelon

Directions:

Spread the blended bananas using a spatula onto a Paraflexx sheet.  Put in the dehydrator (I love the Sedona brand of dehydrator by Tribest).

Spread the blended grapes onto a Paraflexx sheet.  Put in the dehydrator.

Spread the blended watermelon onto a Paraflexx sheet.  Put in the dehydrator.  Watermelon is not very thick and it is important to only add a bit at a time to the Paraflexx sheet or it can become very messy.  Go slow with the watermelon : )

Any extra fruit can be blended all together making a blend of colors. Put onto a Paraflexx sheet and place in dehydrator.

Make sure the fruit mixture is about 1/4 inch thick. Dehydrate at 110 F for about 4 hours or until the mixture is firm.  It should be easy to peel away from the sheet and will no longer stick when it is ready.

Usually lasts 3 to 5 days.

It is really fun to wrap the treats in fun, kid friendly ways.  You can use yellow cellophane for the banana treat and use a happy Christmas themed ribbon.  It is fun to wrap the watermelon treat in pink or red wrap.  The kids also love using Christmas cookie cutters to cut out cute shapes.  It can be turned into a bonding Christmas memory when the kids become involved in the cut outs.
